 The timing of revelations about Paterson are telling |
| How the News Business Makes the News February 27, 2010 It could be argued that the New York Times ended Gov. David Paterson's campaign for governor. While Paterson did not help his cause any by intervening (allegedly) to help his close aide avoid legal trouble, it was the vague threat of a future story in the Times that led the most recent media frenzy.
