		<content type="html">&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Sunday, August 22, 2010&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&amp;nbsp; Rochester, NY -&amp;nbsp; At Marinia Auto Stadium last evening, the Rochester Rhinos honored the Rochester Lancers, and their 1970 North American Soccer League (NASL) title.&amp;nbsp; Many former Lancers&#039; players, coaches, and owners were in attendance.&amp;nbsp; The Rhinos beat Miami 3-1:&amp;nbsp; A good soccer night in Rochester.&amp;nbsp; And Bill Pucko highlights what has turned out to be a very good month for pro soccer in Rochester.</content>

		<title type="text">Judge Rules 52% of California Voters are Insufferable Twits Ignorant of the Law and Fundamental Rights</title>

		<content type="html">&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;August 5, 2010&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&amp;nbsp; Federal Judge Vaughn R. Walker -- a Republican appointed by George H. W. Bush in 1989 -- has ruled that the 52% of California voters who supported a ban on gay marriage were wrong. Wrong, that is, in their legal view that such a ban is legal under the United States Constitution. How will Judge Walker&#039;s decision hold up on appeal? That all depends on whether &quot;strict constuctionist&quot; judges maintain their philosophy (which supports Walker&#039;s ruling) or whether they decide that &quot;judicial activism&quot; suddenly has a newfound appeal.</content>
